Image library
Add your own images and let adfit swap them in for matching visitors, so the picture on the page fits the ad they came from. Image swapping is available on Growth and Agency.
Availability
The image library is part of the Growth and Agency plans. On Free and Starter the Image library section shows how to upgrade instead. If you move down from Growth, your images are kept safely and come back when you upgrade again.

Upload images
Open one of your sites and choose Image library in the site sidebar (in the Audience group). Drop images onto the upload area, or click it to browse. You can select several at once.
- Supported formats: PNG, JPG, WebP or GIF, up to 5 MB each.
- SVG images are not supported. Export the graphic as PNG or JPG.
Do not upload images containing personal data
Upload marketing images, not photos of customers or anything with personal data in them. adfit analyzes every image you upload to describe it.
adfit describes each image
Right after you upload an image, adfit looks at it and writes a short description of what it shows. It uses that description to decide which image fits a given visitor, and you can see it on each image tile. The description is written by adfit and is read-only.
If an image has no description yet, or you want adfit to write a fresh one, press Generate description on the tile.
How image swapping works
Once your library has images, adfit can include an image swap in a personalization. When a matching visitor arrives, adfit replaces an image on the page with the one from your library that best fits them, based on the descriptions and the shape of the image (landscape, portrait or square). You do not pick the image by hand; adfit chooses the best match for each visitor.
adfit uses your most recent images
When your library is large, adfit swaps from your most recently added images. If some images fall outside that range, the library marks them as Not used so you know at a glance.
Manage your library
The counter at the top of the Your images card shows how many images you have. To remove one, use the delete button on its tile and confirm. When you reach your plan's image limit, delete an image to make room or upgrade for a larger library.
